Final Exit Network believes competent adults with fatal, painful diseases should be able to end their lives. The network has erected billboards all over the country to spread its message with words some might consider compassionate, and others, outrageous. The billboard towering over East Boston is black and white and straightforward. It reads 'Irreversible Illness? Unbearable suffering? Die With Dignity.'
