Discussion forum on grieving: Loss of a parent and having a hard time

After my stepfather’s death, I immediately jumped into the caretaker role, making sure everyone had what they needed except me. I knew my Mother’s love of her life had just died and making sure she was ok was way more important then dealing with my loss.
